Shea Concrete Products, Inc. is hiring a Quality Control (QC) Technician for our Amesbury, MA plant and our Wilmington, MA plant.

The role focuses on product testing and quality control processes in a fast-paced concrete production environment, with pay from $28.00 to $34.00 per hour DOE and opportunities to obtain an ACI Field Testing Grade 1 certification. You will perform field tests, insure QC inspections, read blueprints, and support precast production as needed, requiring good

Qualifications

• ACI Field-Testing Grade 1 certified preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to read blueprints and sketches.
• Computers/tablets skills required for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform ACI concrete field tests.
• Conduct quality control inspections in the production plant.
• Inspect product after removal from forms (post-pour).
• Notify Production Supervisor if deficiencies are found.
• Perform and/or schedule repairs on products as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of precast plant techniques and procedures.
• May assist with precast production operation as needed.
