Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support the delivery of high quality concrete for construction projects in Idaho. The role conducts routine tests on raw materials, ready-mix concrete and finished products to ensure compliance with QC standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring production, performing daily concrete tests, pre-pour and post-pour inspections, and collaborating with engineering to ensure drawings and products meet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years prior QC experience preferred.
• ACI Field Tech I Quality control certification
• PCI level II or III, preferred.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting shop/engineering drawings
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Monitor production activities.
• Perform daily testing of concrete specimens.
• Perform pre-pour and post-pour inspections of precast/prestress concrete products.
• Take steps to reduce detailing operations.
• Ensure correct implementation of the QC program.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure drawings and products meet specifications.
