Job summary

Locke Solutions in Alvarado, Texas, is seeking a QC Technician to join our fast-growing precast concrete manufacturing team. You will perform pre-pour and post-pour inspections, test concrete samples, and document results to ensure design and specification criteria are met.

You will maintain safety certifications, support audits, track quality data, and contribute to cost of quality improvements while promoting a culture of 'first time right' across production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related QC experience or training preferred.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-pour and post-pour inspections and document results.
• Conduct routine product testing (slump, air content, temperature, strength) and report deviations.
• Assist audits and maintain compliance with NPCA/ACI and internal QC standards.
• Maintain quality records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production.
