Job summary

ECKART, a global specialty chemicals company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Ohio to ensure raw materials and finished products meet quality standards. You will conduct inspections, run tests, and verify materials against specifications while maintaining calibration and data records.

You will work cross-functionally with Production and Technical Services, use ERP systems for data entry, and apply color vision testing to confirm color accuracy.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
An associate degree in science or related discipline is preferred.
Two years of directly related experience can substitute an associate degree.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of incoming raw materials.
Perform intermediate and finished product testing per work instructions.
Develop lab blends for color matching and trial batches.
Approve compliant materials and escalate nonconforming items.
Verify materials meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ERP data entry.
