ICP Group in Chicago, IL is seeking a Quality Control Technician to monitor, document, and validate that all products meet defined specifications. You will work closely with production to test materials, record results, and quarantine items that fail quality checks.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to lift 70 pounds, and proficiency with data entry and basic reporting in Excel. A manufacturing background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 20/20 vision (corrected acceptable).
• Strong math skills essential for calculating test results.
• Able to work with different Units of Measure (UOM).
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds safely.
• Experience in manufacturing setting preferred.
• Proficient with data entry and basic reporting.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine quality checks during production runs.
• Record testing results and track deviations in Excel or templates.
• Quarantine non-conforming materials and coordinate with production.
• Communicate test results to operators and suggest process improvements.
• Assist with SOPs and safety audits.
• Support lab and plant personnel as needed.
• Weekly and monthly cycle counts.
