Job summary

CROWN Cork & Seal USA, Inc. – Bradley, IL is seeking a Quality Control Technician to help ensure quality across aluminum beverage can production. You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and Production Supervisor, performing inspections, data entry, and safety-compliant tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a High School/GED, 2–3 years in a manufacturing QC role, and basic computer skills. The company offers competitive pay and strong benefits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED with 2-3 years of experience in inspecting, testing, packaging and high-speed manufacturing.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Preferred: OSHA training, Beverage Packaging Quality experience, AS400/QAS/NWA 6S training.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow verbal instructions to completion of tasks.
• Perform quality inspections and testing to ensure product quality.
• Identify quality problems and dispositions.
• Communicate information between management, coworkers, and shifts.
• Assist and train new technicians as needed.
• Maintain gauging equipment and update production standards.
• Enter data into a computer and document records.
• Complete monthly SAFE cards and hazard reporting.
