Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. Bradley, IL is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect and test aluminum beverage can production, ensuring product quality and adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

You will perform quality checks, document data, and assist with training new technicians while supporting continuous improvement in a high-speed manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to safety and the ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, with basic computer

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED required.
• 2-3 years of experience with computer skills in inspecting, testing, packaging and high-speed manufacturing.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Preferred: OSHA training in manufacturing environment.
• Beverage packaging quality industry experience and knowledge of AS400/QAS.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow verbal instructions to completion of tasks.
• Perform quality inspections and testing to ensure product quality.
• Ensure quality of all production processes for aluminum beverage can manufacturing.
• Identify quality problems and dispositions.
• Communicate information between management, coworkers, and shifts regarding equipment, production issues, or related changes.
• Assist and train new technicians as needed; support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
