Job summary

GreenWaste Recovery is seeking a Bale Dresser to support our baler dressing operation in San Jose, CA. The role involves removing contamination from bales of plastics, metals, and paper using pliers and utility knives in a fast-paced setting.

Work with a small team, follow OSHA safety procedures, and help ensure bales meet company standards. Proficiency in English and/or Spanish is preferred, with shifts that may include overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, push, pull, and use hand tools for extended periods.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures at all times.
• Identify contamination and dress bales to standard.

Responsibilities

• Remove contamination from bales of plastics, metals and paper using pliers and utility knives.
• Follow daily procedures, directions, and safety protocols.
• Work as a team with other bale dressers in close quarters.
• Communicate with team members to maximize productivity.
• Ensure bales are dressed to company standards.
