Reporting To

Quality Control Specialist

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Inspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity.
2. Assist other QC Technicians, Operators, Wirers, and Assemblers when quality issues arise.
3. Perform inspections using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.).
4. Train other employees.
5. Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Role

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Experience using computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and web applications.
• Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models.
• Skilled in using tools such as screwdrivers, crimpers, and air guns.
• Desired experience with SAP, Supplier Net, Salesforce, Windchill, Fletch (waiver/NCM workflows/Quality Notifications), BOX, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work with teams, coordinate activities like rework, collaborate with suppliers, and facilitate return of materials (RMA).
• One year of experience in quality assurance is preferred.
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
