This position reports to

Quality Control Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

  • Inspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity
  • Assist other QC Technicians, Operators, Wirers and Assemblers when quality questions arise
  • Perform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.)
  • Train other employees
  • Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications for the role

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing
  • Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications.
  • Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models
  • Skilled in using tools, such as a screwdriver, crimper, and air gun
  • Desired experience in SAP, supplier net, salesforce, windchill, fletch (waiver/ncm workflows/Quality Notifications), BOX and SharePoint
  • Ability to work with teams and coordinate activities like rework, collaborate with suppliers and facilitate return of materials (RMA’s)
  • 1 year experience in quality preferred
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
