At Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, we are seeking a Quality Control Technician 3 to support our Armament Systems business unit in Mesa, AZ.

Location:

This position requires on-site support. Selected candidate will need to be within commuting distance to our site in Mesa, AZ. Relocation assistance is not available with this position.

Position Overview

  • Performs analyses and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, and/or finished products from manufacturing to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports.

  • Conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged, or tested product.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects purchased materials, assembled components, and final assemblies for conformity to standards and specifications.

  • Inspects for proper identification and dimensions using measuring devices.

  • Visually inspects for defects or damage.

  • Verifies specifications using contracts, purchase orders, prints, or inspection instructions.

  • Makes accept/reject decisions on inspected goods and maintains records of results.

  • Perform First Article Inspections.

  • Interact with DCMA and other customer representatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus 4 years of experience in quality or a relevant field.

  • Experience with purchase order, contract, specification, and drawing interpretations.

  • Basic PC skills including knowledge of MS Office products.

Salary Range: $51,200 - $85,400
