Unimacts is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Sloan, NV, on 2nd shift (3:30PM-2:00AM). You will inspect materials, maintain test equipment, and document quality findings to ensure customer specifications are met.

Strong GD&T and reading drawings skills are required, with Lean/Six Sigma exposure considered an advantage. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year as a Quality Technician in manufacturing, familiarity with ERP systems, and bilingual English/Spanish communication abilities.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma is required; an associate degree is a plus.
• 1+ year as a Quality Technician in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience or background in Steel Rolling Industry preferred.
• Familiarity with gauges, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma is desirable.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software preferred.
• Able to read drawings and specifications; GD&T interpretation skills essential.
• Strong communication to report non-conformities; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Documentation of audit findings and quality checks clearly and concisely.

Aufgaben

• Inspect, test, and measure products, components, and materials using gauges and analytical equipment.
• Maintain and validate equipment used for quality control against customer specs.
• Create accurate dimensional records and review quality documentation for accuracy.
• Report findings to supervisor and trigger corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct process audits and support continuous improvement with Maintenance/Production teams.
• Attend safety meetings and training; follow all safety guidelines.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials to ensure process quality.
