Job summary

SINTX is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join a small, dynamic team supporting regulatory-compliant medical device and aerospace products. The role focuses on precision measurement with CMMs, optical/vision systems, and material testers to release product to market or to production.

You will partner with Production, QA, and Engineering, applying lean quality practices and data-driven insights to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years in relevant Quality Control position.
  • Proficient in following written and verbal protocols.
  • Experience with QC machinery is preferred.
  • Able to work in laboratory/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering as needed.
  • Provide insights for process improvement or issue resolution.
  • Release products to market or material to production.

This position provides critical quality control analysis as part of a small, dynamic, and influential Quality Control team for the company’s unique and highly regulated Medical Device and Aerospace products (21 CFR, ISO 13485, AS 9100). The person filling this role will leverage their expertise in precision measuring instrumentation, such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Optical/Vision Systems, Material Testing Machines, Surface and Hardness Testers, etc. to release products to market or material to production. This person may be called on to partner with Production, Quality Assurance, and/or Engineering and provide insights for process improvement or issue resolution.

  • Some locations may be dusty and/or noisy and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs, gloves, face mask, eye protection, etc.
  • Prolonged sitting, walking, and standing.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Education/Knowledge Required
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
