Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm, with overtime at 6:00am-4:30pm.
Location: Tulsa, OK
GENERAL SCOPE OF JOB

The Quality Control Technician will support all Quality production processes, including pre- and post-production standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include motivating, supporting, coaching the Production Team to meet goals, ensuring safety policies are followed, products pass Quality Control testing, and Lean tools are deployed and sustained within their areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Verify product quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Collect and report Quality metrics using Microsoft Forms.
  • Communicate defects during QC inspections.
  • Perform layered audits on critical projects.
  • Use QC stamps and quality approvals appropriately.
  • Participate in weekly Quality Team meetings.
  • Conduct root cause investigations.
  • Inspect incoming and end-of-line products.
  • Assist in team training.
  • Sustain 5S+Safety standards and eliminate waste.
  • Maintain and improve a positive work culture.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma.
  • Previous Quality experience preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.
COMPETENCIES
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Quick learner with problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time management and proactive approach.
  • Solid PC skills; familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
  • Hands-on, accountable, fair, and consistent.
  • Ability to use programming software such as Microchip Studio, Smart System, Pro12Z programmer, IM-pack, SPM Super-Pro for Windows.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Mix of climate-controlled and non-controlled environments. PPE required in designated areas. Management may reassign responsibilities as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift 10-30 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally, and perform physical activities such as reaching, climbing, or crouching. Vision requirements include close vision. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
