County Materials Family of Companies in Hazelhurst, WI is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure our concrete products meet required standards through inspections, testing, and meticulous documentation.

You will collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues, interpret shop drawings, and maintain rigorous compliance with SOPs, safety practices, and regulatory guidelines in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Experience in construction/building materials preferred, not required.
• Concrete plant and quality control experience highly desired.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and job specifications.
• Solid math aptitude and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team collaboration.
• Preferred PCI Level I certification or ability to obtain certifications as directed.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections, tests, and measurements during production.
• Inspect materials, parts, and products at various production stages.
• Record observations and recommend process improvements.
• Monitor casting and concrete processes; ensure compliance with SOPs.

We're hiring a Quality Control Technician to join County Ready Mix in Hazelhurst, WI.

Job Summary:

A Quality Control Technician ensures products meet company and regulatory standards by performing inspections, tests, and measurements throughout the production process. They document findings, identify defects or deviations, and work with production teams to resolve issues and maintain consistent product quality. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication are essential to success in this role.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during production of materials and products
• Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry
• Regularly observes the production process, including setup, casting, stripping, and storage of product
• Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performance
• Manage housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.

Experience & Qualifications:
