Job summary

Diamondback Airboats is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure quality standards are met across the manufacturing of airboats. The role focuses on overseeing QC and repair processes, performing touch ups, and maintaining inspection reports.

Candidates should have 2+ years of QC experience, follow ISO procedures, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The position is on the first shift, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime; background check and ATF firearm possession requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the QC and repair process of all airboats manufacturing items.
• Touch up, sand, and buff items that require corrective action.
• Develop and maintain inspection reports.
• Maintains cleanliness of working areas.
• Wears all required PPE.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Assist in assembly of small parts during any downtime.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in quality control is required
• At least 1 year of following procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience in automotive/marine industry is preferred
• At least 1 year of quality experience in the automotive/marine industry is preferred
• Extremely detail oriented
• Effectively communicate with supervisors and coworkers
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Forklift certification preferred

CORE DUTIES

• Responsible for overseeing the QC and repair process of all airboats manufacturing items

HOURS

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Overtime as needed

Special Requirements

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
