Job summary

Diamondback Airboats is seeking a Quality Control Technician to uphold quality standards across airboat production. The role focuses on supervising QC and repair, ensuring compliance with ISO procedures, and maintaining inspection records.

The candidate will also participate in assembly during downtime and support other departments as needed. The position emphasizes attention to detail and effective communication with supervisors and coworkers in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quality control is required.
• At least 1 year of following procedures and instructions per ISO requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the QC and repair process of all airboats manufacturing items.
• Touch up, sand, and buff items that require corrective action.
• Develop and maintain inspection reports.
• Maintains cleanliness of working areas.
• Wears all required PPE.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Assist in assembly of small parts during any downtime.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB TITLE: Quality Control Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring quality standards are upheld at Diamondback Airboats

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience working in quality control is required
• At least 1 year of following procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

PREFERRED SKILLS

• 2+ years of experience in automotive/marine industry is preferred
• At least 1 year of quality experience in the automotive/marine industry is preferred
• Extremely detail oriented
• Effectively communicate with supervisors and coworkers
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Forklift certification preferred

CORE DUTIES

• Responsible for overseeing the QC and repair process of all airboats manufacturing items
• Touch up, sand, and buff items that require corrective actionDevelop and maintain inspection reports
• Maintains cleanliness of working areas
• Wears all required PPE
• Assist in other departments as needed
• Assist in assembly of small parts during any downtime
• Other duties as assigned

HOURS

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
