KSB SupremeServ by KSB GIW, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Thomson, Georgia. The role ensures components, repairs, and pump assemblies meet drawings, specifications, ISO procedures, and internal quality standards.
You will perform final inspections, verify documentation, and support calibration control. You will collaborate with technicians, supervisors, and customers, reporting to the Service Center Operations Manager.

As the Quality Control Technician, you will ensure all components, repairs, and completed pump assemblies meet company drawings, specifications, ISO procedures, and internal quality standards. You’ll perform final inspections on repairs, verify documentation, support calibration control, hold point inspections, and report non-conformances. You will work closely with technicians, supervisors, and customers and report to the Service Center Operations Manager.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred, along with relevant experience in quality control, rotating equipment, or industrial repair.
Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, gearboxes, compressors, mixers, turbines). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and OEM specifications. Proficiency using precision measuring instruments. Understanding of ISO requirements, calibration control, traceability, NCR processes, and quality documentation. Strong communication, analytical thinking, organizational skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
Technical Skills: Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, CMM equipment). Familiarity with NDT methods (visual, dye penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic). Ability to interpret metric and imperial measurements. Computer literacy for electronic documentation. Knowledge of vibration fundamentals and alignment concepts preferred.
