Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions in Sealy, TX is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join the Sealy plant. You will read drawings, perform internal audits, and maintain quality data to support our infrastructure products.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and initiative; candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, some manufacturing experience, and proficiency with basic QC tools and Excel. This full-time role offers growth and stability in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience; prior QC experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and ASTM specifications.
• Ability to interpret readings from QC tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Basic Microsoft Excel experience and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Quality control in an administrative capacity for the production facility.
• Read and understand shop fabrication drawings and specs; verify documentation accuracy.
• Perform internal audits and maintain quality control inspection records.
• Maintain, organize, and report on quality performance data.
• Resolve quality issues due to clerical/CAD errors.
• Assist with monthly physical inventory and verify accuracy.
• Distribute and verify quality of Bills of Materials and fabrication packets.
• Coach and train the team inquality requirements.

About the Role

Responsibilities:
