Job summary

Quikrete Holdings Inc. – Rosenberg, TX plant is seeking an ACI certified QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN to ensure batching, mixing, and delivery meet project specifications and customer expectations. Travel may be needed to monitor quality standards.

You will perform QC tests, calibrate equipment, sample raw materials, and communicate results to dispatch and batch personnel while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ACI certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of QC experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC tests (air content, slump/workability, yield, set time, water-cement ratio, strength).
• Calibrate production and testing equipment.
• Sample and test raw materials for specification compliance.
• Record and communicate test results to dispatch, batch personnel, and customers.
• Troubleshoot fresh and hardened concrete quality issues.

We are looking for an ACI certified QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN to join our Rosenberg, TX plant. As a Quality Control Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will be responsible for ensuring quality control of batching, mixing, and delivering high-quality ready-mixed concrete that meets project specifications and customer expectations. This role requires travel to monitor quality standards and perform testing.

• Calibrate production and testing equipment.
• Sample and test raw materials for specification compliance.
• Record and communicate test results to dispatch, batch personnel, and customers.
• Troubleshoot fresh and hardened concrete to identify quality issues.

About You

We Require:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• ACI Certified preferred
• A minimum of 3-years of QC experience within a construction, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
• Good organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
