Position Summary
Mill Creek Machining (MCM), a CMT company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our Quality team at our Paullina, IA location. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for verifying that manufactured parts and outside services comply with customer specifications using inspection control methods and procedures. Schedule & Compensation
This position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The pay range is between $18.50/hr. and $23.00/hr., depending on experience.*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains inspection reports
• Ensures compliance with company standards and specifications
• Performs inspections across all production stages
• Evaluates data and drafts reports, noting deviations from standards
• Identifies areas for quality control improvement and implements new methods
• Communicates quality or compliance concerns promptly

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1-3+ years of experience in a quality inspection role, with practical knowledge of mechanical and automated inspection tools
• Excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication skills in English (written and oral)
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards is a plus
• Knowledge of drawing interpretation (GD&T), inspection activities, manufacturing processes, and problem-solving techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with FAI and PPAP inspection procedures is a plus
