Job summary

Creative Cove Inc. is seeking a full-time contract Quality Control/Testing Specialist to support beverage product development in the Greater Boston area.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in beverage QC or related fields and onsite work in Massachusetts. You will partner with Product Development and Beverage Science teams to perform analyses, run tests, manage samples, and support claims substantiation for new launches through end of year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in beverage QC/testing.
• Education or experience in food science/technology, culinology or related fields.
• Onsite role in the Greater Boston area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with product management activities for new launches, improvements, optimizations, and line extensions.
• Execute beverage and ingredient analyses including pH, TA, Brix and Flashpoint.
• Assist in beverage formulation development and bench-top formulation creation.
• Coordinate and execute consumer testing with sensory evaluation and report results.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive value engineering and cost-down initiatives.
• Manage internal technical testing and stability testing for products in development.
• Support claims substantiation process for new product launches.
• Coordinate samples for retailer meetings and consumer research activities with the Consumer Insights team.
• Track findings and action items from consumer research and product reviews.

Our Metrowest client is looking for a full time contract Quality Control/Testing Specialist with 3+ years experience working in beverage industry. This position is 100% onsite in the Greater Boston area and looking to start immediately and go until end of year. For this role, you must have education or experience in Food Science/Technology, Culinology, Culinary, or related fields.

Day in the life:

Partnering with Product Development leads & Manager of Beverage Science to help with the successful product launches of new and cutting-edge products.

Aiding with technical needs through:

• Assisting with product management activities for new product launches, product improvements, optimizations, and line extensions
• Executing beverage and ingredient analysis including pH, TA, Brix and Flashpoint
• Assisting in the creation & development of beverage formulations, including bench top beverage development and formula creation
• Coordinating and executing consumer testing with sensory evaluation and report-out of findings to the team
• Working cross functionally to establish value engineering and cost down initiatives
• Managing internal technical testing and stability testing for all products in development
• Support claims substantiation process for new product launches
• Sample management and coordination and for retailer meeting needs
• Coordination and execution of consumer research activities with internal and external testers in collaboration with Consumer Insights team
• Tracking of findings and action items from consumer research and product reviews
