  • Validate product conformity against engineering drawings, specs, and internal quality protocols.
  • Operate precision metrology tools to verify tolerances.
  • Maintain digital documentation of inspection data for traceability.
  • Identify non-conformances and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Perform first article inspections to verify process capability for new production runs.
  • Support internal audits and maintain a safe, high-performance work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Execute comprehensive visual and dimensional inspections across incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
  • Validate product conformity against complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and internal quality protocols.
  • Operate precision metrology tools including calipers, micrometers, and specialized gauges to ensure exact tolerances.
  • Maintain meticulous digital documentation of inspection data to support traceability and quality reporting.
  • Proactively identify non-conformances and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective corrective actions.
  • Perform first article inspections to verify process capability for new or modified production runs.
  • Contribute to internal audit readiness and support the maintenance of a safe, high-performance work environment.
Qualifications
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical schematics.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related discrepancies.
  • Solid foundation in quality control methodologies and inspection best practices.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings to diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced industrial or machining environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Professional certification in quality inspection or a related technical discipline.
