Rogers Group, Inc. is currently seeking an individual for the QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN position for our East Tennessee operating locations, based out of KNOXVILLE, TN. Job Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing on materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
• Support compliance with environmental regulations.
• Operate and maintain lab testing equipment.
• Maintain control charts and records.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in the lab environment.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Focus on safety excellence.
• Experience with aggregate testing procedures and lab equipment.
• Knowledge of chemical analysis, gradations, XRF/chemistry testing, geological concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform mechanical tasks.
• Computer skills and data entry proficiency.
• Flexible schedule, including possible night and Saturday shifts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
