Job Description

The purpose of this position is to test concrete and materials used for producing concrete in accordance with test methods, specifications, and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform testing procedures and report results to the QC Manager.
  2. Communicate, improve, and adhere to safety policies in all work environments.
  3. Maintain records and report results accurately and promptly.
  4. Sample and test raw materials.
  5. Maintain a clean and professional laboratory environment.
  6. Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  7. Evaluate testing results and communicate findings to the QC Manager.
  8. Maintain relevant certifications through exams, seminars, and industry courses.
  9. Collaborate with the QC Manager to achieve the company's quality goals.
  10. Exhibit professionalism and conduct that promotes a positive company image.
Requirements
  1. High School diploma or GED.
  2. Safety-oriented with knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  3. Experience in the concrete industry is a plus but not required.
  4. Ability to perform mathematical operations involving variables and percentages.
  5. Ability to assess situations and solve problems quickly.
  6. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  7. Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
  8. Effective oral and written communication skills.

Compensation depends on experience and qualifications.
