Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Houston, TX to ensure packaging accuracy, labeling, and sanitation standards. Under QA supervision, you will flag issues, place products on hold when needed, and support GMP and food safety inspections.

Responsibilities include daily tests, hygiene monitoring, contributing to GFSI audits, and routine clerical duties. No prior experience required beyond education; this role focuses on maintaining product quality and safety

• Basic math and literacy.

• Knowledge of USA FSMA, CDC, EPA, & FDA
• Understanding of HACCP principles

Responsabilidades

• Monitor packaging to ensure correct labeling, date coding, and correct packaging is being followed.
• Under supervision of QA manager, places questionable product on hold, recommends the discarding bad product or stops production line to correct or prevent product quality issues.
• Performs daily test and swabs to ensure sanitation standards are being met.
• Monitors employee’s hygiene and ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
• Assist in maintaining food safety programs for GFSI audits.
• Perform GMP inspection.
• Under supervision will perform Food Safety Inspection.
• Monitor cutting operations to ensure size and appearance requirements are being met.
• Will test for biological hazards (environmental microbial)
• Conduct clerical duties including copying, filing, faxing, data entry, and document reproduction.
• Conduct housekeeping and general labor duties as assigned.
• Other duties may be assigned.
