Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is assisting a manufacturing client in Grand Prairie, TX as a Quality Control Technician. You will support day-to-day QC testing for a 24/7 operation, handle sample preparation, and ensure accurate records according to established procedures.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and following QWIs. Basic computer/data-entry skills are helpful, and prior lab or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous laboratory, manufacturing, or quality experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures and QWIs.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills to accurately record results.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team in a manufacturing/laboratory environment, including physical sample preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Support routine QC testing and assist with sample preparation to help keep testing on schedule.
  • Collect and organize production and raw material samples for accurate, traceable testing.
  • Enter test results accurately into QC systems and logs to maintain reliable documentation.
  • Assist with testing of mortars, thinsets, grouts, sands, and other products according to established procedures.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked laboratory workstations while following Quality Work Instructions (QWIs) and safety requirements.

Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control team supporting day-to-day laboratory needs for a 24/7 manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-minded mindset, and the ability to follow written procedures - helping ensure timely QC testing and accurate records.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Pay Range: $20-22/hour

Shift: 11am-9pm or 12-10pm Mon-Fri

What's the Job?
