Diamond Pet Foods, a leading producer and packager of premium Pet Foods, is seeking a Quality Control Technician. The technician is responsible for implementing and adhering to the Quality Control program, conducting quality checks during production, verifying testing protocols, conducting testing in bulk receiving, and verifying sanitation activities. Identifying quality concerns and finding corrective actions are key responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have previous supervisory or leadership experience, be detail-oriented, and able to accurately identify problems and corrections. This is NOT an entry-level position. A minimum of three years of recent continuous employment is required. The position involves 12-hour night shifts.

Examples of QC work include:

• Testing incoming ingredients (sieve, NIR, moisture, mycotoxin, salmonella, bacterial tests)
• Checking operator paperwork for accuracy and completeness, inspecting labels, bags, and seals
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager
• Lifting up to 50 pounds routinely
• Climbing ladders and working at heights

This position is not funded for relocation and is available for immediate hiring.
