Job summary

Polar Seltzer is seeking a Quality Control Technician at our Georgia plant to perform qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, raw materials, and finished goods. The role focuses on ensuring products meet specifications and involves documenting results and coordinating with production teams.

You will analyze beverage attributes, audit equipment, and maintain clean lab practices while using Excel and Word for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout the entire production process.
• Safely perform laboratory tests on beverages to ensure product is produced within established parameters and make adjustments where necessary.
• Audit containers, rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations.
• Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits and isolate products that do not meet standards.
• Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination and monitor package appearance, integrity and correct package codes.

Responsibilities: Responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished goods.

• Primary responsibility is to safely perform laboratory tests on beverages to ensure product is produced within established parameters and make adjustments where necessary.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout the entire production process.
• Analyze syrup beverage and/or water attributes
• Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations.
• Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits and isolate product that does not meet standards.
• Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination
• Monitoring package appearance, integrity and correct package codes.
• Requires working with other lab technicians, line foreman, line operators, fork truck drivers, and other production personnel.
