Qualifications

• Technical / Vocational Course graduate preferable in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Electromechanics or related field.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Control Technician (SMT) is responsible for ensuring and improving product and process quality in support with Manufacturing Quality Engineer within Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing operations. This role focuses on gathering and analyzing quality data, initiating and following up proactive corrective actions from other parties to improve quality performance continuously. The position plays a key role in maintaining yield/OATF on target, and compliance with internal and customer quality requirements in support with MQE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Initiate, track, and ensure the timely implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in regular Yield, Out of the Factory (OATF), and Quality Improvement Program (QIP) meetings.
• Review, validate, and maintain accuracy of key quality and production-related documents, including:
  • Purging Notices
  • Material Review Board (MRB) Dispositions
  • Return Material Authorization (RMA) Reports
  • Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
  • Label Reference Sheets
  • Work Instruction Sheets (WIS)
• Support compliance with established quality standards, procedures, and production requirements.
• Prepare, consolidate, and present regular reports to the MQE on yield performance, OATF metrics, quality trends, and other key quality indicators.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in support of quality monitoring and decision-making processes.
• Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by management or the immediate supervisor.
• Complies at all times with Safety and Quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical / Vocational Course graduate preferrable Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Electromechanics or any related field
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or quality.
• Basic knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis (8D/RCCA).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and teamwork.
• Willing to work onsite in Rosario, Cavite.
