Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Quality Control Technician to help ensure food safety and product quality on the production line. You will monitor GMPs, perform sanitation checks, and support QA/QC teams.

The role requires attention to detail, basic lab experience or wet chemistry, and proficiency with Excel and Word, plus clear written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Food Safety Practices, Safety Programs and HACCP.
• Experience in a lab environment, wet chemistry preferred.
• 1-2 years of industry experience preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
• Proficient PC skills including Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production line for Good Manufacturing Practices and Cleanliness.
• Perform daily ATP swabs and sanitation inspections.
• Report to and work closely with QA and/or QC Managers.
• Create labels and tags as needed for production hold and release.
• Approve samples, open lab, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform duties using effective communication skills.
• Understand SQF, FDA (FSMA), USDA and other regulating agencies compliance as it pertains to preparing, requesting and approving official company documents.
• HACCP monitoring activities.
• Document all data and communicate to production supervisors and management.
• Fill in as needed in other areas of the Quality Department as assigned by the supervisor.
