Job summary

Elite Staffing Inc is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure products meet quality and safety standards in Arlington, TX. You will perform inspections, measurements using a digital multimeter, and document findings in our systems.

You will support root cause analysis, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and perform basic assembly tasks. Work hours are 7am-4pm, Mon-Fri; temporary to hire; pay is $21.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer navigation and utilization skills.
• Must be able to use a digital multi-meter.
• Basic reading skills; follow directions.
• Ability to use reasoning to solve problems and generate ideas.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Technical problem-solving skills.
• May require ruler test or basic measurement checks.
• Ability to perform arithmetic in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Make a visual product inspection and record results.

QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality and safety standards before reaching customers. This role performs inspections, measurements, and documentation of product quality, supports root cause analysis and corrective actions, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Job Duties

• Make a visual product inspection and record results to a spreadsheet
• Use a product-specific meter to take quality measurements and record the results
• Read, interpret, and follow technical engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to perform final product configuration
• Upload data to the material management system for the account manager
• Assist with problem-solving – root cause analysis – corrective actions
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results
• Perform quality work checks to assure the product meets quality standards
• Assist and/or substitute in quality control station as needed
• Maintain inventory of products in the configuration area
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Small assembly tasks using common tools
• Communicates effectively with others and can function and get along in a team environment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of mechanical or computer assembly experience preferred
