Job summary

Unimacts is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift (3:30PM-2:00AM) at our Sloan, NV facility. You will inspect components, ensure equipment readiness, document findings, and support process audits to improve quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in manufacturing QC, familiarity with GD&T, and the ability to read drawings. Lean and Six Sigma knowledge, plus English/Spanish bilingual skills, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree a plus.
• Minimum 1 year as Quality Technician in a manufacturing setting.
• Steel rolling industry experience preferred.
• Familiar with gauges, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
• Ability to read drawings and follow specifications and GD&T.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong asset.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Inspect, test, and measure products using analytical equipment and gauges.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment functions correctly to meet customer specs.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create dimensional records and review quality docs; report findings.
• Process Audits: Conduct audits and drive continuous improvement with Maintenance/Production teams.
• Safety and Training: Attend safety meetings and training; follow guidelines.
• Material Inspection: Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.
