Job summary

Unimacts, a renewable energy contract manufacturing leader in Sloan, NV, seeks a Quality Control Technician for 1st Shift (7AM-4PM). You will inspect products, verify specifications, and drive quality across the supply chain.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in quality roles, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), and proficiency with GD&T, drawings, and bilingual English/Spanish; ERP experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree a substantial plus.
• At least 1 year as a Quality Technician in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Background in Steel Rolling Industry preferred.
• Familiarity with gauges, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement; Six Sigma desirable.
• ERP systems and manufacturing software experience is favored.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: inspect, test, and measure products, components, and materials.
• Equipment Maintenance: ensure optimal functioning of inspection equipment.
• Documentation and Reporting: create dimensional records and review quality documentation for accuracy.
• Process Audits: conduct audits and drive continuous improvement with Maintenance/Production teams.
• Safety and Training: participate in safety meetings and training; follow guidelines.
• Material Inspection: perform incoming inspection of raw materials to ensure quality.
