Job summary

INX International is seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Ink Lab in Dunkirk, NY. You will perform production batch QC testing, maintain SAP records, and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives. A high school diploma, color vision, MS Office proficiency, and overtime flexibility are required.

You will help establish accurate quality records, calibrate test equipment, and contribute to a safe, environmentally conscious production culture.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to pass a color vision test.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP data entry.
  • Flexible to cover other shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Strong math, reading, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control testing of production batches of inks and coatings.
  • Enter results into SAP and maintain quality records.
  • Perform 5S cleaning and maintain the work area.
  • Calibrate and verify test equipment.
  • Investigate non-conforming batches and implement batch corrections.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Assist with customer proofing as needed.

Job Description

This role offers a range of $24 to $26 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

Are you detail-oriented and enjoy putting out a high-quality product? We are seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Ink Lab.Check out this opportunity to be part of our team and contribute to our growth and success.As a Quality Control Tech, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing quality control testing of production batches of inks and coatings
  • Completing associated clerical work (entering results into SAP, printing labels, filing, etc.)
  • Performing 5S cleaning and maintaining the area
  • Establishing and maintainingaccurate and complete quality records in SAP
  • Performing color quality tests; making batch additions and adjustments
  • Implementing necessary and timely batch corrections directly to Production
  • Calibratingand verifyingtest equipment
  • Investigatingand analyzingnon-conforming batches (internal and external)
  • SupportingLean Manufacturing
  • Performing some customer proofing
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Be able to pass a color vision test
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skills
  • Beflexible to cover other shifts if needed
  • Have excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension and good math skills
  • Have 6 to12 months previous Lab/QC related work experience
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

  • An understanding of manufacturing operations and basic aspects of printing technologies
  • Experience working in a high volume department
  • Prior experience in Lean Manufacturing facility
  • Trade or Tech school
  • Availability and willingness to work overtime as needed
  • SAP Knowledge
  • Previous experience in the ink industry
