Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician to test and monitor quality across products at our Kentucky facility. You will coordinate with production and the Central Lab to ensure accurate results and timely communication.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and at least 1 year of laboratory experience, with strong attention to detail and good computer skills in a lab/plant environment, where safety is a priority.

Responsibilities

• Completes profiles on production finished materials and on product purchases and shipments per Company standards.
• Serves as liaison between the plant and Central Lab with respect to product quality.
• Obtain, package, and ship samples for testing to Central Lab
• Submit test results to Supervisor, General Manager, Plant Manager and Sales Manager.
• Perform quality analyses on finished products. Maintains lab, materials, and work area in clean condition.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for testing and monitoring quality of all products.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• One year prior laboratory experience.

Physical Demands
