Kelly Services is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in Denton, Texas. This full-time role focuses on ensuring food quality and safety, with responsibilities ranging from material inspection to test data management in a lab system.

Are you passionate about food quality and safety? Join our team in Denton, TX as a Quality Assurance Technician —and help ensure our products meet the highest standards every day! We are hiring multiple candidates for this important role on our growing team.
Starting Pay: $23+ per hour (commensurate with experience)
Shift: 2-2-3 schedule, 6:00am – 6:00pm (Enjoy every other weekend off!)
Inspect raw materials, ingredients, and packaging for compliance with company and regulatory quality standards.
Collect and analyze samples throughout production, ensuring safety and consistency.
Perform standardized tests (Fat, Moisture, Protein, pH, Water Activity) and enter results into our lab system.
Review, document, and follow up on test data; participate in root cause investigations.
Conduct sanitation audits of equipment and work with production teams to resolve issues swiftly.
Monitor Critical and Quality Control Points, take corrective action, and upscale concerns as needed.
Support regulatory, GFSI, and customer audits, including SOP updates and internal auditing.
Assist with customer complaint investigations and coordinate sample shipments to outside labs or customers.
Take on other duties as assigned—each day brings new challenges!
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of quality or production experience—food industry preferred.
Quality control inspection experience is a plus.
SQF/BRC experience a bonus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Onsite, full-time at our Denton production facility.
Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical activity required.
Plant setting with moderate to loud noise levels.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel locally as needed.
