Job summary

Knife River Idaho Division is seeking an Asphalt Laboratory/Density Quality Control Technician to join our Boise, Idaho team. The role focuses on materials sampling, testing, and documenting QA procedures to support asphalt and aggregate projects.

Position requires availability to work up to 7 days per week with varied hours and possible short trips. WAQTC Aggregate/Asphalt II certifications are preferred and continued employment depends on them.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of aggregate/asphalt materials testing experience.
• Current Idaho WAQTC Aggregate/Asphalt II certifications preferred.
• WAQTC, ACI, NRMCA certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Materials sampling and testing, logging and documentation, and quality control procedures.
• Follow QA procedures and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Knife River Idaho Division is looking for an Asphalt Laboratory/Density Quality Control Technician to join our team in the Boise, Idaho area.

Major Job Responsibilities Will Include

Responsibilities will include materials sampling and testing documentation/logging and various quality control procedures.

This position requires the availability to work up to 7 days per week as well as varied and extended hours. You may be required to occasionally travel out of town for short periods. Continued employment contingent upon successfully attaining WAQTC Certifications.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with aggregate/asphalt materials and have knowledge of the testing procedures.

Preferred Candidates will also have current/previous Idaho WAQTC Aggregate/Asphalt II certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

Other material testing qualifications/certifications including but not limited to WAQTC, ACI, NRMCA, etc.
