Custom Building Products is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician for our Bell, California facility. You will test incoming raw materials and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications and that our customers receive a quality product.

• 1-3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with testing, collection and recording production samples.
• Bachelor’s degree in science/chemistry preferred.
• Must have great attention to detail.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate, and follow-up.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct quality audits of production processes to ensure products meet established standards.
• Place products on hold that do not meet quality standards and document dispositions.
• Communicate quality concerns to Batch Operators or Management immediately.
• Follow daily production schedules, organize retain samples, and check documents for incoming materials.
• Perform QC tasks including sampling, auditing, lab testing and calibrations.
• Assist QC team and shift supervisor with quality control activities.

We are searching for an experienced Quality Control Technician for our Bell, California facility. This position will be responsible for safely and efficiently testing incoming raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance to specifications to ensure our customers receive a quality product.

You will be working in our QC Lab and working alongside other QC technicians. You will be assisting the production staff in achieving goals and operating as an efficient workforce in all aspects of the Q.C. Department. All tasks should be performed in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Service, and Cost objectives. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, plus overtime if needed. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days depending on job performance.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and detailed quality audits of production processes to ensure products meet established quality standards.
• Responsible for placing products on hold that do not meet company quality standards and provide appropriate dispositions.
• Communicate immediately to Batch Operators or Management all circumstances which may affect quality or are considered questionable and unsafe.
• Follow daily productions schedule and instructions, organize retain samples, collect and check documents for incoming materials, if applicable.
• Perform QC tasks including product sampling, auditing, lab testing and calibrations to ensure compliance to specifications.
• Assist other QC team members as directed by the shift supervisor in performing all activities associated with the quality control of products and any other tasks assigned by supervisors.

We Require:

• 1-3 years of related Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment to include knowledge/proficiency with PH meters, measurement equipment, viscosity gauges
• Experience in quality processes including testing, collection and recording production/processing samples.
• A bachelor's degree in science/chemistry preferred.
• Must have great attention to detail.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate, and follow-up.
• Abide by all requirements, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
