Job summary

Ryobi Die Casting (USA), Inc. seeks a Quality Control Supervisor to lead QC inspectors and lab technicians, guiding daily production quality efforts. You will supervise QC personnel, coordinate overtime, and train staff to uphold strict standards and procedural compliance.

You will also support Quality Engineers in problem solving, review discrepant materials, and communicate product standards across the plant while maintaining equipment and records for audits.

Qualifications

• Lead the QC inspectors and lab technicians to maximize efficiency in supporting production.
• Supervise Quality Control personnel and ensure adherence to standards.
• Coordinate overtime scheduling and coverage for vacations/absences in Quality Control.
• Train and develop Quality Control personnel to improve skills.
• Assist inspectors and lab technicians in providing timely feedback to production.
• Support Quality Engineers in problem solving and discrepant material reviews/dispositions.
• Communicate product standards and customer expectations to plant personnel.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures and records.

Responsibilities

• Lead RDC personnel in the resolution of quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee maintenance PMs on QC hard gage equipment and lab instruments.
• Interact with customers as needed to improve product quality and goodwill.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and quality processes are documented.
• Provide accurate feedback and timely reporting to production teams.

Our overall goals are to learn and succeed together.Position DescriptionLead the QC inspectors and lab technicians so as to maximize their efficiency in supporting the production process.Responsible for the supervision of Quality Control personnel.Coordinate scheduling of overtime and coverage for vacation and absences in Quality Control.Responsible for training/development of Quality Control personnel.Assist inspectors and lab technicians in providing timely feedback to production personnel.Support Quality Engineers in problem solving, statistical studies and discrepant material reviews/dispositions.Analyze, interpret and communicate product standards, specifications, and customer expectations to all plant personnel.Assist the QA Manager in developing and maintaining quality procedures and records.Create an atmosphere conducive to quick and accurate feedback to production while maintaining the morale and self esteem of the quality team.Maintain all laboratory and porosity inspection equipment including the Lab Manual procedures and preventive maintenance.Responsible for reducing non-conforming castings.Interact with customers as necessary to improve product quality, affect continuous improvement, and improve goodwill with customers.Follow and enforce RDC safety and conduct rules as published.Lead RDC personnel in the resolution of quality related issues.Responsible for completion of maintenance PM’s on QC hard gage equipment.Support coverage of Quality Control personnel. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.Develop own methods to achieve results, receives little supervision on day to day activities.Supervise Quality Control team, including giving team evaluations and recommending disciplinary action as necessary.
