Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor in Salem, OR to supervise NDT Technicians and lead QC activities across multiple shifts.

You will ensure products meet customer expectations and industry standards while collaborating with production, engineering, and third‑party auditors. The role emphasizes developing corrective actions, data analysis, and continuous improvement within the Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with QC experience or equivalent
• Experience in welding inspection, coating inspection, and non‑destructive testing
• Ability to lead and develop NDT personnel and manage QC activities across shifts

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, train, and develop NDT Technicians.
• Oversee QC activities across shifts and ensure conformance to customer and industry requirements.
• Develop and maintain QC procedures and work instructions with Engineering and QC Coordinators.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support site audits.
• Analyze processes and implement corrective actions to reduce nonconformities and scrap.
