Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector/Supervisor to visually inspect products, ensure conformity to standards, and support military contract programs. The role involves testing, recordkeeping, and collaboration with engineers to drive quality improvements.

Applicants must hold an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one, have a HS Diploma/GED with 5 years’ inspection experience, and be able to travel up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 5 years of experience as a product quality control inspector.
• 2 years as Quality Control Supervisor on military contracts.
• Experience and/or training in electronics, vehicle operation, electrical wiring, and product assembly.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect products per specifications using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Recommend adjustments to production processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to Quality Management System processes and procedures.
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical testing of subsystems between manufacturing processes and integration.
• Inspect platforms/vehicles for readiness for subsystem integration.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and test data; report findings to management.
• Review inspection results for trend/root-cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts.
