Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Quality Control Inspector Supervisor to join a fast-paced team supporting military contracts. You will visually inspect products, perform tests, and maintain accurate inspection records to ensure conformity with standards.

You will develop recommendations to improve quality and efficiency, review trends for root-cause analysis, and collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve issues. Willingness to travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• HS Diploma or GED with 5 years of quality inspection experience.
• 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Supervisor on military contracts.
• Experience and/or training in electronics, vehicle operation, electrical wiring, and product assembly.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interconnection diagrams.
• Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
• Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, and calipers.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects products according to specifications to ensure conformity to established standards, using measuring instruments, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Recommend adjustments to production processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to all processes and procedures per established Quality Management System.
• Complete basic electrical and mechanical testing of subsystem assemblies between manufacturing processes and integration to ensure the accuracy of final products.
• Inspect platforms/vehicles to ensure equipment is ready for subsystem integration.
• Assist in developing and maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality control processes, reporting findings to management.
• Review inspection results for trend analysis and root cause analysis to propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts.
