Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Quality Control Supervisor for Lima, OH on the 1st shift. You will lead quality operators, ensure products meet standards, and support HACCP and SPC programs across plastics/food manufacturing.

This role requires 1+ year experience, an associate degree or higher in relevant field, knowledge of ISO 9001, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems. Strong data analysis and corrective actions are essential.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or higher in Quality, Manufacturing, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Training or certifications related to Quality Management Systems, HACCP, Metrology, or Continuous Improvement are a plus.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise Quality Operators while promoting quality, safety, and food safety culture.
Support certification audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance activities.
Participate as a member of the HACCP team and execute food safety and food defense programs.
Manage calibration schedules, equipment verification, metrology records, and compliance documentation.
Train new employees on quality procedures, best practices, and operational standards.
Oversee product inspections, raw material verification, testing activities, and product approvals.
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Monitor SPC data, analyze quality trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain quality records, procedures, and testing methods to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
