Staffmark in Van Wert, OH is hiring a Quality Control Supervisor to ensure every part of the production line meets strict quality standards. You will lead quality operators, coordinate audits, and document results to support continuous improvement.

You should have an Associate degree or higher, HACCP knowledge, and hands-on experience in plastics or food manufacturing. The role offers growth, challenging quality work, and opportunities to impact product safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Quality, Manufacturing, Food Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Training or certifications related to Quality Management Systems, HACCP, Metrology, or Continuous Improvement are a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Quality Operators while promoting quality, safety, and food safety culture.
• Support certification audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance activities.
• Participate as a member of the HACCP team and execute food safety and food defense programs.
• Manage calibration schedules, equipment verification, metrology records, and compliance documentation.
• Train new employees on quality procedures, best practices, and operational standards.
• Oversee product inspections, raw material verification, testing activities, and product approvals.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor SPC data, analyze quality trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain quality records, procedures, and testing methods to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
