Job summary

PATCO Products is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our Grandview, Missouri manufacturing team. You will lead a team of Quality Control Technicians, oversee laboratory operations, testing, quality systems, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, you will ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, BRCGS, ISO 9001, EXCiPACT, and support a culture of safety and quality across production and quality functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of quality and/or regulatory leadership experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SPC, and PCQI requirements for food and feed.
• Experience working within a TPM or continuous improvement environment preferred.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing quality or laboratory employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Control Technicians responsible for testing raw materials, work-in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and food safety standards, including HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, BRCGS, ISO 9001, and EXCiPACT.
• Promote a strong culture of food safety, product quality, workplace safety, and continuous improvement.
• Plan and coordinate laboratory staffing and coverage, including scheduling and timecard approvals.
• Ensure QC personnel are properly trained, qualified, and competent to perform assigned testing and laboratory responsibilities.
