Qualifications

• Some college level management education
• 2 years Quality Control/Production Supervisor experience in wholesale industry
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and Excel; GOLD system literacy
• Lifting up to 25lbs
• Sitting at a computer for long periods of time
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and lead a diverse workforce
• Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and GMP Principles; certifications such as HACCP, SQF Practitioner, PCQI, etc.
• Distribution Center environment with varying temperatures

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day Quality Control Department operations across all shifts
• Assign duties, schedule breaks, and manage staff vacations
• Ensure quality and productivity standards are communicated and met
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other regulations
• Maintain quality inspection and product release programs for incoming materials
• Prepare quality documentation, reports, and trend analyses
• Support warehouse staff and enforce GMP and safety rules
