Clark Holdings Inc. seeks a Quality Control Specialist (Mechanical) to verify installation, testing, and performance of HVAC, piping, and related mechanical systems on our projects.

You will review drawings and submittals, inspect equipment, ensure compliance with ASME, ASHRAE and NFPA, and coordinate with project teams to resolve non-conforming work and close punch items.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical construction, piping, HVAC installation, or QA.
  • Strong initiative, accountability, and ability to lead and align teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review contract documents and submittals to ensure compliance.
  • Inspect installation of ductwork, piping, AHUs, chillers, boilers, pumps per codes.
  • Ensure installations conform to contract docs and codes like ASME, ASHRAE, NFPA.
  • Witness startup, testing and commissioning of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate with management, subcontractors, inspectors to resolve non-conforming work and close punch lists.

Job description

The Quality Control Specialist (Mechanical) is responsible for verifying the installation, testing, and functional performance of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and controls. The goal is to ensure systems are installed correctly, safely, and operate as designed.## ## Responsibilities:* ## Review contract documents (plans and specifications) and subcontractor submittals to ensure contract compliance.* ## Inspect and verify the installation of ductwork, piping, insulation, chillers, boilers, pumps, air handling units (AHUs), and related mechanical and plumbing equipment for compliance with the contract documents, approved submittals and applicable building codes.* ## Ensure all mechanical and plumbing installations conform to all contract documents and building codes and standards such as ASME, ASHRAE, and NFPA.* ## Witness and verify installation, startup, testing and commissioning of HVAC and plumbing equipment and systems.* ## Work closely with the project management team, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors to resolve non-conforming work and close out punch list items promptly.## Qualifications:* ## Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
