Job summary

Markon Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Specialist in Washington, DC to support government and Intelligence Community missions with quality assurance across professional services programs.

Responsibilities include implementing QC plans, conducting reviews and audits, tracking metrics, and driving CAPA actions to meet contract requirements and customer expectations. Secret clearance is required, TS/SCI possible.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Bachelor's degree or 5 years QA substitution.
• 3+ years of experience in quality control/quality assurance in a professional services environment.
• Experience implementing or maintaining quality control plans, processes, and procedures.
• Experience conducting quality reviews of deliverables and performing periodic audits or assessments.
• Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting quality metrics and performance trends.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple quality priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

• Maintain quality records and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness and effective program oversight.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance deliverable quality, consistency, and overall program performance.
• Coordinate with program leadership, functional teams, and customer stakeholders on quality requirements and performance.

Description

Markon is building a talent pool of Quality Control Specialists to support future government and Intelligence Community missions. This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify qualified professionals to support the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes for professional services programs. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings requiring quality assurance, deliverable reviews, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement to ensure contract requirements and customer expectations are consistently met.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; 5 years of quality assurance experience may substitute for a degree
• 3+ years of experience in quality control and/or quality assurance within a professional services environment
• Experience implementing or maintaining quality control plans, processes, and procedures
• Experience conducting quality reviews of deliverables and performing periodic audits or assessments
• Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting quality metrics and performance trends
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple quality priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment

• Experience supporting government or Intelligence Community professional services programs
• Experience developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Experience supporting contract compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives

Salary Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
