Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. hires a Quality Control (QC) Specialist to ensure client training modules are error-free. You will provide feedback to editors via Jira and QC new study setups per the Help Desk QC Checklist.

The role emphasizes adherence to quality standards and study configuration matrices. Qualifications include a bachelor’s in CS (preferred) and strong written/verbal communication. The position requires 0–5% travel and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset within a high-energy team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred, or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience to perform the job
• Minimum two years’ experience with PC operating systems and a variety of browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to rapidly learn new concepts, processes and technologies
• Ability to work with a high-energy team and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve workflow and production issues
• Review deliverables from post-production and enter feedback into Jira
• Verify that fixes are complete and deliverables are ready for client release
• Update Jira to notify team that fixes are needed or deliverables are ready for client release
• Create training materials and operating manuals
• Analyze customer feedback and oversee improvement actions
• Review new study launch requests for QC based on the configuration matrix
• Serve as the verifier for new study launches (complete checklist)
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Summary

The Quality Control (QC) Specialist is responsible for quality assurance of client training modules to ensure they are free of error through feedback given to editors via entry into tracking system as well as providing quality control on new study set up as outlined on the Help Desk QC Checklist. The QC Specialist ensures training content and study set ups are free of errors and is implemented in accordance with quality standards and the study configuration matrix.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

• Identifies and resolves workflow and production issues
• Reviews deliverables from post-production and enters feedback into Jira
• Verifies that fixes are complete and that deliverables are ready for client release
• Updates Jira to notify team that fixes are needed or that deliverables are ready for client release
• Creates training materials and operating manuals
• Analyzes customer feedback, recommends, and oversees improvement actions
• Reviews new study launch requests for QC based on the configuration matrix (completes checklist)
• Serves as the verifier if not the initial QC personnel for new study launches (completes checklist)
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred, or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience to perform the job

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional certifications in Project, Product, or Agile methodologies preferred but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum two years’ experience with PC Operating Systems as well as a variety of browsers including Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari
• Ability to focus on content and quality of produced material
• Ability to work with a high-energy team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range

USD $52,470.00 - USD $81,500.00 /Yr.
